National Junior Honor Society

Burnett NJHS Membership:
Selection for membership in NJHS is determined by a faculty council and is based on outstanding scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. To be eligible for membership, a candidate must meet eligibility requirements of a cumulative average of 88 or above in all core classes (RLA, Math, Science, & Social Studies) for three consecutive terms for the academic year (Term 1, Term 2, and Term3). In addition, they must write an essay describing their leadership skills and commitment to community service by the submission deadline. Once these requirements are met, the faculty council confirms their membership in the NJHS Burnett Chapter, and an official induction invitation letter is provided to each new inductee. All new 7th and 8th grade NJHS members will be inducted into the Burnett NJHS Chapter through a special induction ceremony at the end of the school year.
Process of NJHS Membership:
-NJHS invitations sent out in April
