Principals
Tarah Clark- Principal
I am truly honored and excited for the opportunity to lead Burnett Junior High School. I graduated from Texas A&M University (whoop!) and began my career in education in 2007 as a teacher and coach. During that time, I had the privilege of teaching both middle and high school math while also coaching volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track at the high school level.
Prior to joining Burnett, I was grateful for the opportunity to serve as an assistant principal at both middle and high schools, most recently as the Associate Principal at Wylie High School. Each of these experiences has shaped my passion for supporting students, staff, and families.
Junior high is such a unique and exciting stage in a student’s life—a time of tremendous growth, discovery, and change. Being part of that journey is incredibly meaningful, and I am honored to serve students during these important years.
I look forward to building strong relationships and creating lasting experiences and memories with our Buccaneer students, staff, and families.
